It's as dumb way to distribute tickets....no doubt about that. Feel bad that UM has lost revenue on these unused seats but they are partly at fault for it.

Maine with a big flurry around the net, Whitehead looking behind him, bodies falling everywhere, can’t get it in. Maine can’t buy a goal tonight. NU on the other hand getting great chances and executing on them. I don’t even think any of the goals are softies.

30 seconds into the period, Maine takes a penalty. Then Scott called for a penalty where Whitehead drifts out and interferes with Scott, goes down, Scott scores. Goal won’t count puts NU on a 5-on-3…. Wow sucks

If they don't sell out when they go on sale to the public at 5. Which puzzles me, because if those seats are empty that means no one bought them or the people who did decided not to use them.

I was up there a couple weeks ago and the line to buy tickets at 5 started around 4:15. The student line was already at the Alfond statue by 5.

Incidentally, that was a horseshit call. It should be a Maine goal, not a Northeastern 5x3.
