Questionable call or not the onus is on the team to step up and not fold in that situation.
The special teams has been an issue all season, and when you have a goalie that is getting beat on some routine shots lately it was only a matter of time before the dam broke.
Was willing to give Ostman some time to shake this slump off, but it should be Boija's crease going forward.

Amen....Ostman hasn't had a good game in over 2 months. He's not winning any championships...that's for sure.
You cannot blame the goalie for giving up power play goals
you congratulate him for NOT giving them up
he couldda used D out front moving bodies, but Maine just does not do that

The refs travel now so I'm pretty sure it might get called in Maine too. HE is really cracking down on any contact to the head. Sorry your goalie is the issue not the major. He needs a few days rest. He isn't tracking high shots stick side well, I was seated behind him for 2 periods. NU hit the cross bar twice to his right and he didn't even move.
This exactly. Sad because 5 minute major aside Maine was on top of Northeastern all night. Just cannot give up 3 goals like that.
