For sure! I just fixed her grilled cheese & tomato soup.
I get nervous about possible catching anything that could compromise breathing since covid took 1/3 of my lungs.

Oh no, we can't have that! One of us needs to still have our legs under us for Sunday's game!
Yeah, then we wouldn't have any legs left for Sunday (LOL).

Honorable mention to Clarkson goalie Michelle P who is fantastic.
Gardiner carrying the puck the length of the ice on that second goal, getting bodied when entering the zone and still gets it to Webster who feeds Brengman on the eventual goal.
Kirk ultimately holding it down in a nerve wracking game where she had too few shots to probably feel comfortable.
Webster with ice in her veins on goal number 1. I like how she gets ahead of the play and they feed her pucks.
Thoughts on the game?

Honorable mention to Raygan Kirk for shutting the door after Clarkson's early goal that put them up 1-0.
As for the three stars, my third star would go to Joy Dunne for the blistering shot that made it 3-1 late in the third period and provided us with an insurance goal.
Second star goes to Michelle Pasiechnyk for making some amazing saves and keeping Clarkson in the game.
My first star is going to the game-winning goal scorer, Sloane Matthews. Sloane is a hard-nosed player who is not afraid to go to the dirty areas to score goals, which we saw on display earlier today on that game-winner.
As for the rest of the game, Buckeyes win this one 4-1 in a game that was closer than that final score would indicate, although the Buckeyes did dominate the shots on goal 53-18. Clarkson opened the scoring on this one less than three minutes into the game on a goal from Anne Cherkowski. Makenna Webster would answer for Ohio State later in the first period and the teams went into the first intermission tied at 1-1. Neither team could find the back of the net in the second frame, so the score remained 1-1 at the final intermission. Ohio State's Sloane Matthews would break the tie on a rebound goal with 6:48 left in the game. Joy Dunne would add an insurance goal a few minutes later and Hadley Hartmetz wrapped up the scoring with an empty netter to make the final score 4-1. Clarkson netminder Michelle Pasiechnyk stopped 49 of the 52 shots she faced in the loss. Buckeye backstop Raygan Kirk stopped 17 of the 18 shots she faced to get the win. Clarkson's great season comes to an end. Ohio State advances to the NCAA Championship Game where they will face Wisconsin, who defeated Colgate 3-1 in the second game.

I thought the difference in the SOG category was a pretty convincing states to go with our win.

Hello from Durham! Lindsay & '86, solid lists by both of you.
Like Lindsay, I've got have Makenna's goal on the list. Very important not to let Clarkson play with the lead. Like '86, Joy's goal has to be on the list. That was the first time in this nerve-wracking game I actually felt comfortable! Besides, it was an awesome shot. But beyond that, I won't try to redo either list.

I thought that was pretty crucial to get even before the end of the period, especially since the play evened out a bit in the last two periods.
Great perspective. Such a deep roster.
I probably should have had Makenna's goal in there as it was certainly important to get the game tied up at that point. It was tough to narrow it down to three stars and a couple of honorable mentions. Now I have even more respect for you, Pgb, and your three stars that you do for all the home games! That is a challenge when there are that many players making big plays!

This is as deep a team as we have ever had. I cannot ever remember being able to send all four lines out there every game, regardless of the opponent, and they can all score.
Anyone else see Coach's pregame speech against Clarkson? Loved the part where she came right out and said "We've always known that we have not gotten the respect after all these years." She is 100% spot on. Our program has been disrespected for years. But it's all good because Nadine uses that lack of respect to motivate our players and it likely motivates her as well.
Most of the UNH fans at the game yesterday seemed to be rooting against us, but it was nice to actually overhear a couple of knowledgeable UNH fans tell someone they were rooting for Ohio State because our head football coach (Ryan Day) played QB for the UNH Wildcats back in the day.
