Looks about the same number of D’s voted for Warnock/Dems as voted for Ossoff, but ~40,000 more voters picked Perdue than Loeffler/Collins/GOP, and as has been discussed, more voters picked Perdue than Trump. Why’d those voters vote for Perdue and not Loeffler/Collins or any other random R, and how did more people vote for Perdue than Trump?
Maybe Ossoff’s not the problem, but voters like Perdue. Either way, it’s going to be close. Enough voters could pick Perdue, and either leave the other race blank, or vote D. There are Hovey-type voters in Georgia who are strategic in their voting, maybe they hate Loeffler, and know the GOP still controls the Senate if only Perdue wins. I could be way off in this analysis.

I'm not confident enough to put money on it, but I'm guessing Purdue beats Ossoff but Warnock beats Loeffler. No, it doesn't make any sense but a lot of voting patterns don't make any sense.
 
Well the Parler Nuts dont hate Perdue as much as they hate Loeffler. Loeffler is a woman with money...that is two strikes against her. She also begs for money more than Trump does. Plus they love to mock that she slept her way to the top. Perdue is just rich so they aren't as upset. They dislike him but they HATE her.

If the candidates were flipped, it would be a much more interesting election. Ossof vs. Loeffler and Warnock vs. Perdue is the better battle for Dems IMHO. Ossof would win based solely on Loeffler losing the Parler Nuts and Warnock would have a lot of fun using God against a thief like Perdue.

Smart money is on Parler causing a split. There is enough time though for things to shift massively since that demographic won't vote until the end. My guess is Warnock and Ossof end up with roughly the same amount of votes. If that isnt the case than the voters are even dumber than I give them credit for!

Yeah, I think it's going to be 2-0 either way. It's possible some voters decide to just leave the Loeffler ballot blank, for instance, but I don't see that as a very big number. It'll be a sweep either way.
 
I will take that bet. It is going to be a split. I know you think the crazy factor is less than the rest of us do but they really hate her.
 
You may turn out to be right. It'll have to be people who just choose to leave that ballot blank and just vote the other race. I don't see those people crossing the aisle to vote D.

I suppose you could get some write in votes, which then leads to this question. Does the run off require that a candidate get 50% of the ballots? What if enough write in Trump such that neither the R or the D get 50%?

I’m assuming since there’s no write-in spot on the ballot, anyone’s ballot with Trump as a “write-in” will be thrown out.

I wonder how much of that is them also being Catholic. Note they went for rapist (echoes pederast priests) and when they turned on ACB they fixated on her "abducting children for her Catholic cult."

Both of those are fixtures of anti-Catholic bigotry, and the cradle of conservatism in the South, the Klan, hates Catholics as much as blacks and (((you know who))).

I think we're just seeing another consequences of the convergence of the Venn diagrams of conservatives and white supremacists.

A write in would just invalidate that specific race not the whole ballot. (unless they do it twice) At least that is how I understood it when I did very brief research.

Write in votes are null votes. We will probably hear how many there are but no one except the two people in the actual race count so someone has to be above 50%.

An invalid vote in one election does not affect the vote in a different election. An invalid voter obviously nullifies the ballot. DEEZ NUTS got a lot of votes for school board out in rural MD where the entire local slate was Christian morons.

It doesnt nullify the ballot because both races are on the same ballot. It nullifies the vote in that specific race only.

If the Parler Nuts vote DJT in the Loeffler Race they can still vote Perdue in the other. One will not count and the other will.
