I think many of them will. Remember, MTG and Jim Jordan will be PROMINENT in the new Congress assuming GOP does in fact win the House. They're as pure as it gets.

Trump will never accept being around people that are also popular. Look how he responded when Fauci gained notoriety? He had to torch him. You think he could accept someone like DeSantis?

DeSantis would never accept working with Trump because then he'd have the stench of Trump on him, ala Mike Pence. He's in a great spot - outflanking Trump on the right and none of Trumps scandals have rubbed off on him.
 
Exactly. The only way DeSantis works with Trump is if Trump has something on him. He will never be President if he is working with Trump.

No way. Neither will ever work with the other. They'd rather put a bullet in the other. They would absolutely attempt to torpedo each other in the general.
 
Agreed. That is why I am saying the only way it happens is if Trump has something on Ronny...which I doubt he does because, well, he says he does.

As I said yesterday, if I was working for Ronny I beg him to wait until '28. He will have a full on open door to the nom, he will have plenty of time to make tons of headlines as FloRida Governor and by then the GOP will be in full on "Non-Trump" rebrand mode. He becomes the face of the "New GOP". Let Trump fail in '24 and be the White Knight.

If he runs and loses to Trump he is DOA in '28.

Agreed, especially on those last several points. I just wonder if he's got too much machismo to stand down. Being a cuck isn't going to play well ;-)

Personally, I think we should definitely NOT make fake Trump and GOP accounts on Twitter and poke the bear until he decides to run. ;^)
