I'm old enough to remember when the Twitter Broletariat wanted her out because she wasn't progressive enough or wasn't an effective leader or some such infantile nonsense. Beyond the whole "DNC doesn't back progressive candidates" crap.

I'm not sure I would have expected this out of Nancy wading into Chuck's territory and possibly upsetting a dem fossil. I honestly trust Nancy to do what's best for the country and party, and we know who wears the pants between her and Schumer.

ha, I've never been a big fan of Schmidt, I'll be honest. Just never inspired me with anything he said. But after reading just this opening, I knew I was in for a treat:

Never liked him much, because hey, he ran that McCain campaign. You know, the one that selected perhaps the dumbest woman in America to be on the ticket.

But what he's been saying the last few years is right on the mark. As he is here.

For an alleged championship debater, Cruz doesn't seem particularly bright.
 
Schmidt has naively been on an apology for since Palin. Though he didn't want her IIRC.

Working that convention is still one of my favorite jobs ever. The amount of bs people were slinging to defend the choices was a beauty to behold.
