For people like us yes. (I believe technically they own them) It would be different for Government Employees. That said there is no chance they can't find them...

As for Garland...I would be more worried if it wasn't Don Winslow reporting it and all heavy breathed about it. That guy is so irrational about certain topics it is impossible to take him seriously anymore. It isn't that he is wrong, it is that no one has the time or energy to sift through the nonsense and "OMG you got a heads when you flipped a coin ITS ALL OVER!!1!!!" rhetoric about every topic that gets annoying. I had to unfollow him...

I am also not worried cause I said from day 1 Garland was never going to do what must be done. He is the right man at the wrong time in the wrong job. Hitler wants Czechoslovakia and by God Garland is going to give it to him.
 
I wonder if people realize that the rule of law is gone in this country. How many people at the highest levels of government are guilty of some sort of seditious or treasonous activity related to the events of January 6th? People who were working in the trump administration, members of congress, staff of the U.S. Capitol Police, the Secret Service, the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies were all likely a major part of the insurrection on 1-6-21. Yet every conviction or guilty plea has been some ordinary citizen no one has ever heard of and never would have heard of had it not been for officials of the United States government helping to plan for the overthrow of a duly elected president.

This country is over. When there is no rule of law, you don't have anything. We are like a patient in a permanent vegetative state. Our brain is gone but the part of it that keeps the heart beating and the lungs expanding just hasn't gotten the message. I think the only real question is will the final breaths be drawn in a relatively low key fashion, or will they be accompanied by Civil War II.

Several people should be fired with cause for this and the DOJ needs to look into this as well.

We have tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people in DC fighting hard every day to prevent this. My wife is one of them. They are doing everything they can.

Don't throw up your hands and surrender to the Nazis, that's what they want. Plenty of us are fighting hard. We all do what we can, and many of us inside the machine are doing everything possible to preserve norms, rules, and laws.

It's not magic, it never was; it's work facing down the apes. It was always just good people fighting against bad people. That's not what changed. All that changed is the bad people took over the GOP and said the quiet part out loud: they want to end law and have governance by their whims and bigotries. Anybody who went to high school always knew these people were out there. So now we fight them. There's no reason to whine, we have a legitimate existential fight. If we win we'll be heroes and if we lose welp a thousand years from now historians will pick through the rubble and know somebody tried.
