I called this months ago. If Trump losses, he will resign, and Pence will pardon him. The only problem with that, is Pence can only pardon him for Federal crimes.

No way NY is going to backdown on the state crimes...

Moving his official residence to Florida last year precipitates an inevitable post-WH legal battle over the NY charges, IMO.

I thought NY’s state laws allow for prosecution of crimes where the money flows though NY, or something to that effect. Sort of like how the FCPA allows the US to basically go after any corruption worldwide.
 
Casually waiting to see which "conservative" poster would say how it shows the arrogance/pompousness of Obama vs the straight-shooter/plain talk of Trump.

If Sicatoka wasn't avoiding the political threads he would definitely say that. All of them would go bananas if they heard him say Pakistan again ;-)

No way. That would mean the republican party is nothing but a bunch of hypocrites.

If Biden wins and there is a Democratic majority in the Senate, they absolutely need to increase the size of the court. Increase it to 13 and seat 4 new judges who are all no older than 55. Of course that is a pipe dream because there is no boldness in the Democratic party. It's too bad too, because the fickle American electorate is not going to give them 10 or 12 years of undivided government. Do it now. Do it all now. It is going to take some serious legislative boldness if we want to set the course to a better future.
