Five veterans tapped to advise Senator Kyrsten Sinema, an Arizona Democrat, resigned from their posts on Thursday, publicly accusing her of "hanging your constituents out to dry" and "answering to big donors rather than your own people."

I have no idea who is going to hire someone everyone hates, has no influence, and treated the senate like a paid internship at mom and dad's company.

There is a ton of lobbying firms on K Street that will throw money at her. The Rich and Powerful friggin love her and the GOP will have no issue when she is out of office working with her (since she supports most of their BS anyways) so they can prop her up as proof they don't hate tHe gAyEz!1!1

She is not built for politics...she is just conniving and annoying enough though to make a great lobbyist on many issues.

Trump is not a genius, and neither is Sinema. She doesn't know jackshiat, she's just chasing money the way a stray animal chases food.

All of the sitting senators hate her. So I ask again, who is she going to peddle influence to? No one is even going to let her in the door.
 
Looks like Sinema has signed off on giving rich people just one thumbs up instead of two thumbs up from the IRS on the shady sh-t they pull to skirt paying taxes, while Manchin has watered it down to where only his constituents qualify for the child tax credit. Wonderful.

No they don't. Only the Dems hate her and in reality only the Progressive Dems hate her. The Centrists and the Republicans don't give a crap about her because she is doing their work. She has handed control of the Senate to the minority they don't hate her they probably got her more money.

You are giving way too much credence to certain narratives that get played up online. She is bought and paid for by the very same people who buy and pay for half of Congress. (on both sides of the aisle) She will have no problem getting a job as a lobbyist for Pharma or the like and as long as she is writing checks (their money obviously) she gets through the door.

Most lobbyists that aren't lobbying for altruistic things (and we know she won't be altruistic) are scummy dbags. She will fit right in. They don't need to be liked, they need to be able to get the money and she will be able to do that if she so chooses.
 
At what point do these people that “want to maintain the status quo” realize that maintaining the status quo either gets us:

a) A fascist dictatorship which will destroy them anyway (because they don’t blindly follow the leader)

b) a left wing revolution that will likely see them in guillotines

c) a civil war between a and b that will
destroy them

If only. This will never, ever happen here. Capitalist propaganda permeates this society far more deeply than any secret police could. The people of this country have completely internalized their learned helplessness in the face of the wealthy elite. This country is Pharaonic Egypt or Imperial China. The slaves will police themselves before any substantive change can take place. We have been put to sleep permanently.

All there is is the occasional halt (the 1930s, the 1960s) in the inexorable movement towards corporate feudal serfdom.
