Business travel is still a fraction of what it was before March 2020. I still have not flown for work since then, and very few people at my firm have been approved to fly. They'll mainly be inconveniencing Ma & Pa Kettle trying to visit the Grand Canyon or escape the snow this winter.

I'm flying into that airport in October.

Boo hoo. They’ll be living (what they’ve been telling us is) the easy life, collecting those free government checks without a care in the world. That’s how welfare works, right?

Yeah, they're gonna be wishing for those expanded unemployment benefits that their governors have all cancelled.

Looks like Mississippi has surpassed New Jersey for most deaths per capita. One in about 300 people in Mississippi has died of covid since January 2020.

I understand the scales, but it's still astonishing that Texas and florida were basically having single day case totals equivalent to what Vermont has had total since the beginning.

Kentucky is finally getting fucked hard too. I think we’re second or third in the country in covid cases per capita. The Ky Supreme Court basically told Andy Beshear a little while back to fuck off with his mask mandates, along with everything else designed to protect people. We managed to do fairly well up until a couple months ago, despite having a healthy portion of overweight diabetic smokers living here, but alas, the wheels have come off.

He may even be right, and I'm not sure we should care anymore. If your only argument is "nuh uh!" then I'm not interested in any kind of discussion on the matter. Enjoy life, excluded by society.
The prediction that it would give a kick in the but as well as allow the claim they have to do it is working locally. Word on the street is a local place of higher learning (not in Boston) is putting people on unpaid administrative leave and kicking students out. About time. KNow at least a few people who are working at places that are telling people jab or get out.

The religious exemption thing is interesting. Heard a judge be interviewed- she was saying they have a hard argument if they have gotten all the other vaccines in compliance to go to school, work. Or have gotten them without being required.

Ha. Given that the Venn diagram of COVIDiots and HIPPAcrits is nearly a circle, I can hear the indignation now. “How dare you ask about my vaccine records as I ask for special privileges?!”

But the Covid vaccine uses aborted babeez' stem cells.

Local anti-masker has the bug. Currently in the hospital with pneumonia and oxygen levels in the 70's. Vaccinated with the J&J. At a recent school board meeting, protested masking by saying "this is my response" and flipping the bird. Wife has it too.

Tots and pears.

Yikes. That's not ideal if he's vaccinated.

Low 70s is really not good.

I hope 6th grade English textbooks are taking accounts of cases like this and formatting them to teach future generations of IRONY =)
