Entire state of Idaho now under "crisis standards of care"

As someone linked earlier the big thing as part of that standard (that no one seems to be mentioning) is that it comes with a universal DNR order (if I am understanding things correctly).

Meanwhile, a small group of state legislatures tried to meet and form a quorum (didn't work) to pass a law to ban vaccine mandates. Idaho has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country.

Yeah, that wasn’t the most intelligent thing to say. The way I read the story is that some ‘medical professional’ talked them out of them getting the vaccine more than they were anti-vaccers.
 
A little birdie mentioned to me that you will need a vax in order to fly in a short period of time. I think the shit will hit the fan as we are coming into the holiday travel season.

I can see this being the thing that actually has some of the DERPs pulling some REALLY stupid fuckery as a result.

Floridabro is out of the office today. His away message reads, "I believe in medical freedom and body autonomy. We all have a right to choose!" and includes a link to a Change.org petition started and signed by a few (out of ~50,000 US employees) of our folks who are unhappy with the mandate.
 
I think it would be best if people here didn't use Israel as their standard. Their info hasn't always been the most reliable and there is just a world of difference between what they are dealing with (and how they are dealing with) and with us.

I posted that to prove your point- sic had been on here earlier showing Israel data and trying to push point that vaccines don’t work

To fly back to Germany from Malta last weekend, I needed to show vaccination, recovered, or negative test.
Despite the EU creating an amazing QR code system, the airlines are just doing an eye check. Creates an opportunity for a programmer to create a fake app that simulates it.

Steven Arthur LaTulippe was issued an order from the Oregon Medical Board earlier this month for "dishonorable or unprofessional conduct; repeated negligence in the practice of medicine; and gross negligence in the practice of medicine." He was also fined $10,000.

This is LaTulippe's second suspension.

The first one, which occurred this past December, came after the board found that his family practice, Southview Medical Arts in Dallas, operated in such a way that it constituted an "immediate danger" to the public and presented a "serious danger" to public health and safety. He also told his patients that masks are a source of carbon dioxide.
