Mini rant...I really don't understand why states are saying we've found 10 cases of P.1 or 200 cases of B.1.1.7 when they're only sequencing like one or two percent of cases. It would be much more helpful and accurate to give the current percentages instead.
It's the same as in the early stages.
"<State x> announces 25 new COVID cases."
People with brains: "Oh no, it's here, and if we've caught this many there are likely hundreds."
Trumpists: "but there's only 25!"
