This has to be some sort of fetishistic fascist edging fantasy at this point. Bring the country as close as humanly possible to totalitarianism then pull back just before we go over the edge. And then right back at it.

Which is why I am all for the left doing whatever it takes to rid us of fascists over the next two years. This is no way to run a country. We're either going to be beholden to fascists or we're not. Let's just get it over with. If we piss off 75 million people who have lots of guns, so be it. We all KNOW it won't matter if the democrats play nice for two years in an effort to be "bi-partisan" or to "get something done." We won't get anything done, and in two years the house is going to go to the dark side anyway. Make these two years worth something.

It's amusing they suggest that he can save is legacy. Right now, there are two sides of his legacy- the people who literally worship him- and since he's a god to them, he can do nothing wrong. So there's no reason to worry about that legacy. Although, it's an odd group to have worship a person.

Then there's the people who there's the people who know he's a charlatan. Which goes form contempt to absolute hate. I honestly don't see a path to recover a positive legacy from that group- they will go down in history of knowing what dumpy is all about. And this group goes a long way back- to the people who refused to work with him back 30 years ago.
 
Save his ****ing legacy? What legacy? The Courts? Turtle **** did that. Otherwise his legacy is the complete destruction of the United States of America.

She was also issued instructions to keep correspondence of various thing- which I'm used to seeing, working in a corporate environment....

Any idea what the penalty for not following those orders? As in, what happens if she destroys the documents she's supposed to be keeping?

My gut tells me that someone in her position would naturally panic and destroy that evidence, even though much of it would be preserved in one manner or another, electronically. The great irony of what could happen is a massive hate against large corporations, forcing them to be nationalized, aka- making the United Soviet States of America....

I am not sure exactly what (if any) criminal ramifications there would be; however, in the civil setting, sanctions would be certain. The typical sanction for destruction of evidence (aka, failure to preserve evidence / spoliation) out here in Colorado is an adverse inference instruction.
 
So to understand, they want the courts to overturn the law from 1887, right? And if that law is overturned, then somehow the VP magically gains the power to overturn the election? Is that right? Where, pray tell, does he magically gain that power from?
