Grand Unified Election Thread 2: What is the difference between Biden and Dump?

Maybe.

I think there is a temptation that lot of people fall into where they believe that the screechings of a few give voice to what everyone is thinking. Let's assume there are a half million die hard Trump supporters on social media going crazy over the election results. That would be a huge number on social media, and would make it seem like an overwhelming response. Yet half a million is just a tiny fraction of those who actually voted for Trump and an even tinier fraction of the country.

I personally only know one person who admitted to me that they voted for Trump, at least he told me ahead of the election he was going to. He and his wife were pretty strident about it.

I've talked to him numerous times since the election. I even played golf with him last Wednesday. He has said literally nothing about the election or the subsequent lawsuits, etc..., other than one comment to the effect, "yeah, I figured Biden was going to win."

If you actually go out and ask Trump supporters if they think the election was rigged, yeah a lot of them might tell you yes. But I'd guess that 90%+ of the average Joes who voted for Trump have moved on and are thinking about other things now.

The funniest thing that happened this week was my MAGA cousins meltdown on facebook because the State of Minnesota sent him new license plates for his new car and the number on them was 666. I could not stop laughing.
 
Trump just retweeted Lin wood saying kemp and the Georgia SoS are soon going to be in jail.

Given how they have so much empathy for others, I don't. Live your lives in fear- must be a wonderful life looking at everything in a negative light.

What they are actually afraid of is losing the power of race. They are left with nothing but that at the bottom end of the system. Lose that, and they are just another ordinary person struggling to get by. They only have that feeling because they have this need to feel that they are superior to others, and I can't have sympathy for people who just want to feel superior to others based on race.

They will never realize that the vast, vast, vast majority of people just want to have a decent life. From the shoe repair guy in Tehran to the plant worker in Shanghai, to the farmer in Nigeria, to the painter in Detroit, etc. People hate because they need to feel superior to other people who live just like they do, but may have less.

Unlike many on this board, I don't consider all Hair Furor voters MAGA people. I'm talking about the people who fully believe his crap hook, line and sinker.

I know a fairly large number of Trump voters. Some of them, perhaps most of them, were born into GOP families and just never bothered to escape. A few of them are also GOP voters as single-issue voters (guess which one). Then there are people like my MIL, who attends MN GOP women's events all the time, and fully believe the campaign and voter fraud stories. I see in her daily actions - her front door is always locked even though she lives in one of the safest places in the metro and has never had a single attempted incident. I see her reaction in a lot of these people, though she doesn't harbor the hate, just the fear.

I have one friend that voted for Trump too...all he does is talk about all the stuff that gets posted here. (as do his MAGAT friends and the MAGATs who my friends know) I think you severely underestimate how many of them there are. Maybe that is cause you arent on social media, maybe it is because you are lucky not to see it. But it is not some insignificant number...if it was the GOP wouldn't be peeing their pants over them.

Look you mock us over our reactions to the BS being pulled, but the reason we are is because one of the two political parties sold out completely to these people. 60 lawsuits were filed in various courts ranging from the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania to the friggin Supreme Court of the United States attempting to overturn the results of the election all to placate these clowns. There are still Senators AFTER THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTE that because they are afraid of Trump and his psychos won't admit Biden won. (or will say stuff like "well it looks that way" while also saying there are still roads to a Trump victory) 120 members of the GOP House Caucus signed on and raised their hands to be counted as part of this including parts of the Leadership. The entire party has shifted farther Right/Crazy to the point that liars and cheats like Brian Kemp are now seen as RINOs. That doesn't just happen because of a few loud people on Social Media. I would bet the Trumper Caucus dwarfs the Freedumb Caucus (in part because they cross over) by leaps and bounds and the Freedumbers hold the GOP hostage almost every time there is a spending bill.

The Parler Nuts have now turned on Mitch because he accepted that Biden won...Lara Loomer even called him out for it.

edit: Putin recognized Biden as well...but Parler seems more upset about Mitch the Rino and his Chinese Wife!

They have two TV networks dedicated to them because Fox wasn't serving the audience. Massive group.

Yeah I forgot to add that part. Though the highest rated shows on Fox definitely still cater to these morons. (Tucker and Hannity) Problem is they also live (at least 1% of the time) in the real world unlike OANN and Newsmaxx that live in the fever dreams of Racists and GI Joe Cosplayers.
