PA Rep Kelly asks the Supreme Court to aid in the coup. Hopefully the Court gives this the time it deserves, which is approximately how long it would take to sign your name to a piece of paper saying the case has no merit. You would like to think that any one of these ridiculous and frivolous lawsuits being shot down by the Supreme Court would be enough to end this madness once and for all. Of course that is not going to happen. Absent that, it would be nice if the various state bar associations would open up proceedings against these attorneys for ethical violations since they are constantly bringing forth cases with no evidence to back up the claims. A lot of lawyers need to be disbarred over this. Also not likely to happen, which is a shame.

Yes it is. Many in that party are racist or Bible Thumpers. When the GOP embraced The Stupids they still had some intelligent people in the party. (most of whom left or died)

The Flat Earthers you placate under the table...you don't make them the voice of your Party. They aren't stable enough to lead and they are showing now they have zero issue burning down the house to kill a spider.

Put it this way...all the stuff the (loud but toothless) Bros said in 2016 is peanuts compared to what this crowd will actually do just to prove their crackpot theories. They believe in Lizard People, they believe JFK Jr. is alive and supports Trump. They think aliens are responsible for everything they can't explain. (which is a lot) This isnt Anti-Elitism (the normal GOP platform) this is abdicating any sense of thinking.

Put it this way, everyone has the crazy friend or uncle that they giggle at when they say something like these clowns say at Thanksgiving Dinner. You feed him, have hi over, pretend not to hear most of the irrational crap and then kick them out when the meal is over. You dont put them in charge of the whole dinner, have them invite all the guests to their house, let them carve the turkey and decide when the night ends.

Yeah not much the Bar can do outside of sanctioning them. They have made sure to never suborn perjury which is why they never present any evidence and admit the affidavits they have don't really pass the smell test.

The lawyers are just doing what crackpots do...file a bunch of motions to be heard and get shot down so they can talk about how unfair it is. Of course the crackpots are uneducated and off their meds...these lawyers have advanced degrees so they look way dumber!

As for the petition to the SC...I doubt the SC is going to want to dip their toes in this one especially this close to the Safe Harbor Date. (12/8) Since the Governor certified the results the SC would be overruling the idea of State run elections and violating States Rights. In reality they don't even really have jurisdiction there. Even if Kelly gets to be heard it isnt like there is any evidence...and there is multiple judges in multiple jurisdictions (on the State and Federal Level) that have said none of this has merit. There is also Trump lawyers under oath saying there is no fraud alleged. Plus Kelly's co-whiner is one of the GOPers who voted in favor of the law they are now fighting. They are making it too easy for the SC (even a compromised one) to look the other way.

Just imagine if the newest Justice, a progressive, had not managed to pull off a win early this year. Wisconsin is easily the most backwards state I have ever lived in. And I was born in Indiana and then spent 15 years there as an adult. The republicans in this state are without shame and completely irredeemable.
