Grand Unified Election Thread 2: What is the difference between Biden and Dump?

What I meant was...why is it that the GOPers in GA had a come to Jesus moment but most other places they are either silent or helping him? (Even here in Blue to the Core Minny) I mean GA isn't exactly known for leading the way fighting for freedom and what is right ya know?

The answer is that the Trumpers are threatening them with violence. They turned a blind eye when Qtards threatened us but threatening Kemp and company? Thats a horse of a different color.

The non Trumper GOP is the Konevalov in The Hunt For Red October. They released a torpedo fully armed expecting it to kill the enemy only it has turned on them and is now about to destroy them.

The GA GOP had their realization after they let the truth slip to the public: the SoS and Lt. Gov. stated that they could find no widespread election fraud. After that, Trump attacked both of them, inciting his drones to threaten these men and their families. When the people who are affiliated with the top state offices see a lame duck POTUS attacking their party that needs the drones to steal a gubernatorial election in 2 years, they started to circle the wagons.

I will never be able to figure out how so many Americans drank the Kool-Aid to such a degree that nothing will wake them up. Lou "fucking" Dobbs is turning on Bill Barr now.

With her days in office waning, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos is taking shots at student debt cancellation and tuition-free college proposals, hallmarks of President-elect Joe Biden’s agenda for higher education.

Speaking at an Education Department financial aid conference on Tuesday, DeVos criticized politicians — none by name — for advancing “the truly insidious notion of government gift giving.”

flynn retweeted something calling for violent overthrow of the government.

He’s uh.. apparently still subject to the UCMJ.

While not happening in my lifetime, the military has executed people for offenses that while egregious, didn't add up to treason or sedition. I would say that Flynn's words certainly should be explored as sedition, and sedition is one of the offenses that can result in capital punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Dobbs has been presenting as a certifiable kook for a long time. It's unknown whether he is a witting grifter on an unwitting conservatard.

81 million.

Biden's lead is about to pass 7 million, he may win by more votes than Bush beat Dukakis (7.1 M)

Margin is about to pass 4.5%. Significantly larger than Obama's win over Romney (3.9%).

It wasn't that close. The illusion of closeness was an artifact of the order of reporting results, exactly as the GOP designed it to be when they stopped states from processing and counting early votes until ED.

More proof the Electoral College has GOT to go. If 44,000 votes in WI, AZ and GA, all states won by the republican in 2016 (AZ and GA also in every other election this century) were different, Biden still would have collected over 80 million votes, still would have won by 7 million votes, still would have a margin of victory well over 4% and would have lost an election decided by the House of Representatives.

With Biden winning by a significant EC vote margin and trump receiving more votes than any other previous winning candidate perhaps now is the time to be able to convince republicans in red states the Popular Vote Compact is a notion whose time has come.

But... but... Dominion! Ratios!

Not just that but the Dems have won the popular in 7 of 8 elections, yet R has the Court 6-3 including 5 justices appointed by Presidents who did not win the popular vote. There is a difference between Constitutionally valid and democratically legitimate.

The EC and the Senate are controlled by Rotten Boroughs* and we need a Chartist movement.

It can be done. Governments can be reformed. The EC and the Senate were designed to keep the Plutes in control of the US and they have worked until now. But we can make things more democratic and more free. The Constitution is not a suicide pact.

We need to start putting our energies behind this. Significant Constitutional revisions take about 40 years from initial spark through grassroots consciousness raising through design through amendment. People started to talk in earnest about abolition of the EC and significant reform of the Senate after the 2000 debacle. If we keep the pressure on we can get the US back on track with a spate of amendments over the next 20 years similar to the 3 great amendments between 1909 and 1919: income tax, direct election of Senators, women's suffrage.

*In the 1831 general election, out of 406 elected members of Parliament, 152 were chosen by fewer than 100 voters each, and 88 by fewer than fifty voters.

I see the army had to come out and publicly deny the q theory of the 5 deaths ....

im sure it’s just part of trumps 5d chess

Kepler,

Yeah that is what we were all saying way before ED. The GOP didn't do a good job hiding the game they were playing which is why no one with any sort of deductive reasoning had it figured out. I mean the "Blue Shift" was being talked about in September by the media and election experts so it isnt like anyone should have been caught off guard.

The amazing thing was this ALL played out almost exactly as trump and his enablers said it would and we all knew his playbook. Yet his voters are too stupid to understand the only reason he planned this out was he knew he was going to suffer a fairly significant loss in the popular vote.

*He lied early and often about how the only way he could lose would be by fraud committed by Democrats.
*The republicans offered their usual attempts at voter suppression such as closing polling stations in areas with lots of poor people and people of color (which thankfully were blunted by so much early and mailed in voting).
*Like clockwork trump claimed victory before the polls were closed and he had predictably large leads in states we all KNEW would be counting for days after November 3rd.
*Absolutely refused to concede or even barely acknowledge there was even a chance he would not be president after January 20, 2021.
*Engaged in frivolous legal actions without offering a shred of evidence of illegal voting or fraud of any kind.
*Spent days tweeting about a stolen election and prepared his mouthpieces and enablers to take to the airwaves and internet to spread lies about the elections.
*Attempts to influence state office holders to overturn duly certified elections.
*Finally, back-door encouragement of his enablers to foment violence directed at people who crossed him by declaring election results he found unappealing.

Every one of these points were made by at least one of us, and most of us made them all at one time or another since the summer. And now we have a retired 3-star general saying trump needs to declare martial law and overturn the election.

But because we haven't seen tanks in the streets or widespread right-wing terrorism, its all OK, right?

The illusion of closeness is also manufactured by the Electoral College system, which is one of the handful of items where I am inclined to fully agree with the left that it should be sent to the guillotine. Land doesn't and shouldn't vote, registered eligible citizens do. Country Mouse should be happy to keep disproportionate representation in the Senate, just as the Founders envisioned for the Podunk states.

So, Sidney Powell, super lawyer filed a draft motion by accident and hasn't complied with filling out a restraining order. As a result, defendants don't have to respond until a week after the Electoral College meets.

Brad Heath on Twitter: "Rocky start continues for Sidney Powell's election-fraud lawsuit in Wisconsin. The judge assigned to the case says her team filed a draft motion by accident and still hasn't complied with the basic rules for seeking a temporary restraining order. https://t.co/EsdAuJhkL4" / Twitter

Rules? You mean there are rules involved?

Funny how we have a President selling pardons and undermining elections but the media still lets Republicans say they care about “law and order”

Response.

1. Funny is 1 word for it. Its weird, isn't it, that despite killing the American middle class (#1 middle class in the
is now in Canada), despite starting a war for no reason in Iraq that completely f*%cked the Middle East, & despite Trump almost destroying our top dog

2. status in NATO (we gave more so we could control it, dumb ****)- despite all of that- voters still identify the GOP as the party that is "better" on the economy & on foreign policy. "What we have here, is a failure to communicate!" No, seriously! Its the same w this law

3. and order ****. The GOP breaks **** and the Dem side doesn't have the capability to make them own it. That's changing soon. Really soon. And the best part is the capability is going to be in YOUR hands. Are you ready for it?!

I pray Rachel is correct and Democrats are finding a way to fix this problem.
