Comment Hovey, or other cons?

I thought Obamacare solved all of those problems?

I have no idea if the 14 million figure is right, or not. So what do they say occurred? My guess is either, a) people lost their health insurance when they lost their jobs through whom health insurance was supplied, when businesses closed (by state mandate or otherwise), or b) people lost their health insurance that they purchased on the exchanges when they ran out of money because they were laid off from their jobs at businesses that were forced to close due to the pandemic.

Is there another explanation that is supposedly my fault?

Who cares what the troll and the idiot think. They're flat earthers and their opinions fly in the face of fact.

In very good news - Moderna's vaccine candidate has been approved for an EUA and will be shipping pretty much immediately.

Just saw a very frustrating rant from someone about a restaurant closing here. Basically said it’s BS that politicians are closing restaurants while “people lineup shoulder to shoulder in the post office and stores like Walmart and Costco!”

Absolutely no understanding that a) the post office and grocery stores are essential services and b) the Republicans in Congress they campaigned and voted for are hanging them out to dry. But sure, it’s the Mayor and the Assembly that are causing this.

Let alone they are supposed to social distance in Costco and the Post Office.

But the issue of time exposure is always missed.

Then again, if restaurants didn't keep finding themselves at the center of spreading events, well....

Yeah, but you see, the restaurants are being unfairly targeted by the democ... politicians. And won't somebody think of the workers?!? Because our government won't!

Just shy of 230k new cases and 3256 deaths.

^^^The fight against COVID has given some people that very religious high of fighting in a cause bigger than themselves, a sense of purpose and moral goodness. It should be no surprise that some really don't want that to end.

I wonder how long #TeamAdultChildren #TeamWetTheBed would play, lets all pretend we are sick. 1 year is a given, really two years is... Some would probably play forever.

What spreading event? Stay in your basement, safety forever.

Healthy people having to pretend they are sick, insanity.

2020, the year behavior like this would have been described as mental illness just about 9 months ago.

Might have missed this news on a previous page https://www.politico.com/news/2020/12/16/trump-appointee-demanded-herd-immunity-strategy-446408

Where our leaders wanted herd immunity, back when we all knew that it would mean at least 1,000,000 American deaths.

We are where they wanted us to be, and all of the excuses was to make sure people died and it was overlooked.

Let alone the idea that it would whip up a lot of demand for a vaccine, where companies can make BIG PROFITS off of our tax dollars. Seems to me, our money would have been better spent keeping more people alive.

I don't think his hot take regarding Minnesota is right, though. I haven't heard of any threats by the legislature to remove the Health Commissioner and "throw the state into disarray." In fact, if you Google "Legislature threatens to remove Minnesota Health Commissioner" all you get are some links to the stories back in August or September when the legislature removed another commissioner and people were writing columns about that feature of Minnesota law.

This is what bothers me about twitter, by the way. People like Slavitt might have a nugget of truth, or good information buried within their tweets, but when they start trying to distort it or exaggerate it, it just becomes so much worthless clickbait.

Have the magats turned on Pence yet for taking the vaccine? Is he now part of the deep state? Or was it a fake vaccination and all part of the 50-D chess they are playing to make sure Trump stays in power?

Slavitt is usually pretty good about only saying stuff he hears when it comes to stuff like that. I am not sure how legit it is but Gazelka has shown he has zero shame in doing stuff just like that.

Of course that isnt really the part of the thread that matters so...
