I think the second he didn't get a bounce in the polls and tracking for COVID he was done with it. Just like when he saber rattled about Iran and got no help in his numbers. If he doesn't get some sort of positive reinforcement he is out.

I spoke with 4 colleagues today who all plan on having the holiday next week with people outside their household. In one case, they have three relatives driving to MN from Texas
 
This whole clusterf**k is like a giant bandaid. It needs to be yanked off, let’s all say ouch and get it over with. Instead, we’ve been tugging at it since last winter.....

My 82 year old Grandfather and his wife came to visit from Arizona. They drove it. They left from AZ few weeks ago, stopped in Springfield Missouri to see family there and are now here in MN. It is great seeing him and spending time. He is doing great and seems to be loving life. He is excited to get back to AZ where the weather is great and he will be golfing all Winter long.

How afraid is everyone of Covid on a Scale of 1 - 10? With 10 being, I can't step wetting myself.
I'm hovering around 0.00

In 2008 Obama ran on passing some sort of "healthcare for all legislation" and fixing the economy. He gave us the Affordable Care Act (and no one knew how Obamacare was going to turn out in the months after it passed, good or bad) and the economy was growing by the second half of 2009 and then throughout 2010. In fact GDP growth in 2010 was better than in all but one other year of his presidency. How did voters reward that leadership? In 2010 they voted a Democratic house out of office in favor of Tea Party republicans and whittled a sizeable majority in the Senate to one seat, and then four years after that gave the Senate completely back to the republicans.

Barring Biden performing miracles as president I don't see coming, I would bet my house on the republicans taking back the house in 2022 after the democrats blew their chances at strengthening their majority this time around.

Minnesota had 1 Flu hospitalization last week and it is November.

Hospital Admissions are up 7% compared to the 3 year average. And hospital utilization is up 6%. And the survival rate outside of LTCF is 99.54%.

It's not that people don't care, it is that the risk doesn't match the insanity that Walz is pushing. Nor are people stupid, 1 Flu hospitalization in a week of November in a State of 5.5 million.

You my friend are a complete moron, there is no other way to put it at this point.

My cousin went to a funeral in September of a good friend whose husband died in a farming accident. She came back from the Super Spreader event with the Rona. May everyone who thinks this virus is nothing die of it.

I don't speak for Scooby. Speaking for me, yes. Yes I am. If you are not taking this virus seriously or believe it to be a hoax, you have blood on your hands. You are responsible for thousands of people dying needlessly. I see this as no different than someone breaking into my house in the middle of the night and trying to kill a loved one. You think I'm going to just lay in bed and let them do it? No, I'm gonna grab a gun and shoot the motherfvcker.

I wish COVID and death on nobody. It truly breaks my heart to see how thoughtless and selfish 40-50% of our country is. I detest our president but I wouldn't even wish ill upon him.

All of this is so insanely preventable. We just... can't be bothered.

Since when is a virus insanely preventable? Which Country should we be following now that has demonstrated how insanely easy it is to stop virus spread?

Extra points for pointing out a Country as unhealthy as the US stopping the spread of a virus.

Are you even aware the the hospitalization admissions are up only 1.3% in MA compared to the last three years? Your hysterics and non sense do not match reality.
