Just heard on the news MN had 1 reported Flu hospitalization this past week. LMFAO.

Covid made the Flu mad since Covid is taking all the lime light. So the Flu decided to take the year off. #Science

Always amazes me how these people are "experts" on anything involving medicine and virology...yet almost always fail basic logic.
 
Thanksgiving is going to be really bad. My FB feed is filled with "Baker [MA governor who's done a pretty good job overall] is a nazi and needs to go!" by people who are absolutely apolitical, and then those same people proudly saying they intended to have family Thanksgiving without any concerns. And that's here, where we've mostly managed this well beyond getting walloped at the beginning due to our proximity to NYC.

It's reckless and selfish and thoughtless - the three hallmarks of the United States in the 21st century.

MA hospital admissions are up a whopping 1.3% right now compared to the same time over the last three year average. The MA hospital utilization rate is currently at 65.9%.

The Country as a whole is at a hospital utilization rate of about 70% which is approximately 3.1% higher than the last 3 year average.

-it only needs to be stored at -4C, making it incredibly easy to distribute
-Stable at 36-46F for up to 30 days(!!!)
-reported ZERO severe cases of covid vs 11 in placebo group. Pfizer didn’t report on this stat. It’s incredibly important.
 
Happy about the vaccine news. A Vaccine and Joe Biden in charge is the only thing that's going to save the Stupid United States of America. Maybe someday we'll be able to take the stupid label off but I seriously doubt it.
 
Its neither. The only feelings or opinions that matter are theirs. Anything that would indicate or say otherwise is an attack upon them and their Freedums.

If the vaccine doesn’t stop the spread how much does it help us? I know not as many people get sick but would think a lot of things would still be dicey.

Well, we still have no idea how long the memory antibodies will last, but vaccines absolutely do stop disease spread. If even only 50% of the population get the vaccine (and the 90% and 95% efficacy numbers are accurate), that will go a whole long way into reducing cases and deaths.

What do you mean? The flu vaccine doesn’t stop flu from spreading but it certainly helps reduce
