Covfefe-19 The 12th Part: The Only Thing Worse Than This New Board Is TrumpVirus2020

Im starting to get pzzed at Timmay for not going back to lockdown.

https://mn.gov/covid19/data/response-prep/dial-back-dashboard.jsp

how many indicators need to say caution before we start dialing back?

If the school districts are any measure of the crap that he has to take over even the idea I totally get it. The MNGOP has ginned up their morons to the point that I would not be surprised if they truly tried to recall him over it. I mean FFS they are trying to make it ok to not wear masks at the polls.

At this point we just need to choose to isolate from them because I dont see any way another lockdown happens. And the sad thing is 6 months ago we all predicted that A) the numbers would explode right about now and B) people would get hostile to the idea of another lockdown which would prevent it.

I get that. I just think politics should take a backseat to policy during a pandemic. (Again, I know they’re inextricably tied together.)

But the anti-mask GOP and people like you and me are on the fringe for being vocal. The other, call it 30-50% don’t follow politics and just go with the flow. If restaurants are open, they’ll go. If they aren’t, they won’t. That’s why it’s important to dial back.

The GOP is in a death pact with this virus. They’re not going to change. The rest of us can act like adults and let the children scream because they can’t have two scoops.

It is not just the death cult though...there are parents that are in that 30-50% who get angry too. It is weird man I dont get it. It is like when it comes to shut downs or mask wearing normal people become Qtards and if they have kids I swear it is even more likely.

It's because a majority of the country are a bunch of whiney, soft snowflakes who will absolutely be keeling over and losing WW3 to China when the time comes.

I have cousins screaming how kids need to be in school. And then told me they’ll do regular thanksgiving with everyone with temp checks...I had to explain why temp checks are worthless.

i won’t spare them a thought when they all get it

Temp checks? Jesus people still think that is the way to tell? No wonder our numbers are so bad our information is 6 months out of date.

Things are so bad even on a weekend day like today, which usually looks good due to under reporting, we have already 76k cases and 860 deaths.

If this country had real leadership, there would be relatively instant testing to replace the temp check. But there's zero funding in doing that, and keeping track of the virus.

Well, except for sports. They get all the resources they want. And even that isn't enough- seeing the outbreak grow at Wisconsin.

Funny about that- the impact of getting infected is so clearly defined, you would think that players would go out of their way to be careful outside of the program. Wisconsin loses a game because of it, and it may go longer, depending on if it keeps spreading. Could cost them a shot at the B1G. Just mystifying that they are not more careful.

Yeah I wont lie...sports has almost no value for me now. I dont even feel the need to pretend to care like I used to. the Big Ten soured me on even caring about my team with their ridiculous flip flopping. But hey at least the players get lots of tests...not like the other 40-50k on campus could use it.

Sweden talking about 1000 cases/day and locking down. I'd guess the UK is fairly similar, probably under 10,000/day.

But here we are in the US, with ten times that per day, and whiny beeches cry about having to wear a mask, and not even a whisper of actually doing something to maybe control the spread.

American exceptionalism.

NH breaks the 200 barrier for cases, and Maine is at almost 100. Few weeks ago, they were both seeing on average under 40 cases/day.

Uk daily cases are higher than Sweden. They’re not in great shape

We can thank the top covidiot for a lot of the cases in Maine. Bars open Monday, that should turn out well. It’s hard to understand why the northeastern states didn’t have a plan for the fall and winter. It’s like all of our leaders are completely clueless.

I don't know if its fair to blame them, when every day you have who knows how many people and what sort of pressure they're getting telling them to open things up.

How much shit has Mills been getting ever since this first started? Give her credit, she stuck to her schedule about re-opening. Trouble is, once she did start the reopening, the virus starts to spread.

No doubt on it being difficult. The thing that frustrates me is the fall and winter was always going to be difficult and we haven’t really heard much from Baker or Mills on how we are going to manage it. Maybe after Tuesday there is some action taken.

Guess who Trump called when he was personally battling Covid?

Remember back at the end of June when Dr. Fauci was ripped for saying cases could reach 100K per day in a few months?
Good times...

Fauci today finally comes out and says the federal response has been abysmal.

White House says he’s breaking norms by damaging president.

Irony has been dead for a while but ...
