I like how Kornacki describes not be able to open Absentee Ballots until Election Day archaic. Election Day? Alaska can't open the ones here until next week.

Ridiculous. One of the reasons taking the senate was so important was to get a new voting rights act passed that would address our shortcomings in our voting systems. We need to fund our elections better, we need to mandate uniform early voting and full mail in ballot access if the voter chooses that, we need to mandate a system of drawing districts that prevents gerrymandering, and we need either a national law or an amendment if necessary to ensure felons have access to the ballot returned once they are out of prison (I'd go so far as to let those still incarcerated vote but I am willing to give on that point).

To be faaaaaaair, Alaska isn't usually counting 130k absentee votes. Also, absentee ballots rarely ever factor into results overall.
 
Sort of tired of the Cubans in South Florida continually falling for the "dems are socialist" trope. Grow the fvck up already. So short-sighted. You're dupes just like most of trump's voters. Do you realize that most trump's supporters think of you just like they do anyone else who isn't white?

Yeah I get that, the ridiculous part is not directed at Alaska specifically, just at our voting rules in most places. We have to do better everywhere.

Alaska's rules are largely designed the way they are because a) Mail service here sucks in general and b) to accommodate our large military population.

Did I just hear a talking head say there were only 17,000 votes left to be counted in Fulton County? If so will there be enough votes left in heavily democratic precincts to make up the difference?
