After this news about POTUS, I am sure Team #wetthebed is giving new meaning to how the bed became wet. This news has to be your best wet dream ever. Is your right arm super tired right now, or are you going lefty to give it a break or get you a little strange?

Your wish came true! Or did it? You wanted him, and more importantly his followers, to get corona, so mission accomplished, correct? Your belief is that corona is a DEATH SENTENCE, get it and you're gone. Remember, "Follow the science"!!! Once again, in your mind, you have never had a better wet dream than this.

Doesn't work that way. Even at President Trump's age, the CDC data shows a 94.6% survivability rate IF you become infected. He has the best medical care going right now, but still one never knows. One thing I do know, if he comes thru this and gets right back on the campaign trail, Biden is looking awfully WEAK hiding in his basement and wearing his mask. Trump can tout the fact that he beat corona and is ready to roll, while Sleepy Joe might get it at any time or possibly on Nov 4th and be gone for good. You 100% sure that President Harris produces a better outcome for your future? Willy Brown could certainly add some new material to his wet dream repertoire, but not sure the rest of the country would appreciate the screwing over thereafter.

That voice from upstairs, is not your Mom calling down to the basement to tell you to come up for breakfast. She is really screaming that if you don't stop, you will go blind. Give it a rest.

You are correct. Team #PeePants has wished death upon many people, many times, since March/April. You are accurate with your 94.6% and Trumps age. However, it can be take a step further. Trump isn't in a long term care facility which makes his percentage much higher, probably closer to 98-99%

This virus has affected not just the elderly the hardest but the frail and elderly that were already in the last stages of life.

Wow. The news this past week has certainly unhinged someone.

Why isn't Donnie being treated by the demon sperm doctor, and on heavy doses of hydroxychloroquine like he(and certain fucking morons who pollute this forum) said we out here should be doing?

Better yet, why didn't Donnie's preventative regimen of hydroxychloroquine that he was taking work?

The one benefit to the rapid tests - false negatives and all - is that they can be performed significantly more often than the PCR tests. If we had a federal government that was interested in doing its job, we could have zillions of these machines everywhere and we could all be tested constantly. Even if I am infected but have a false negative, the chances of it being caught by someone I spread it to (or caught it from) is high and we could have a sort of track/trace/isolate program. And something approaching a normal life.

But no, Trump is too busy on twitter, whining about how unfairly he's being treated and watching Fox News. South Park really nailed the depiction of him last week - "I'm actively doing nothing."

Who is unhinged? Took me three days to even respond because I was busy with life and going to a 75th birthday party (most attendees sans mask, even after hearing Donny and Cam Newton came down with it). No one can confirm if Trump is on HC, and even if he is, no drug is 100% effective. But once again, why do you care? If he is taking HC and things dont turn out right for him, isn't that what you wanted all along?

Because this is a college hockey site, I will try to explain with hockey terms. Even when your wife is using the greatest goaltender in the world with a 99 save percentage (the pill), powerful shooters can still slip one by the goalie and light the lamp. Does that make this goaltender the worst one in the world and somehow the coach and GM/AD need to be fired? Sorry, no absolutes in life, but your solution has always been to stay in the locker room until an anti-goal vaccine is released. And if you are forced to come out of the locker room (grocery store), then you just pass the puck around and no checking, never attempting to grab the puck, go five hole and score. Enjoy your #wetthebeddreams, others here will happily line up for the penalty shot and take our 0.01% chances. :-)

It has been around since what, the 1960s? Just admit the drug is highly political to you.

It's been around... for treating lupus and malaria. Trump was hocking it as a covid treatment before it was fully studied, and it turns out it was useless for that. He jumped the gun, and promoted a drug that had not been fully studied for this purpose. Shouldn't he leave the medical advice for the doctors instead of saying "if you want to take it, take it. What have you got to lose?"?
