"I'm not trying to be rude nor disrespectful to the Orange, and I'm sure not being sarcastic. I save that for people that I know. You said you thought Quinnipiac started poorly. I thought they had the upper hand throughout. This is D-I, and I know that Paul Flanagan understands that and schedules accordingly. You don't get judged by a different standard because you come from a different league once the tournament starts. Maybe that's why we viewed the game differently, if you were thinking Syracuse is #18, and I'm thinking they're just another team that has to win or its season will end, no matter how it got to this point."
Viewing everyone through a Minnesota lens, what I'd call winners bias, is exactly the problem I'm identifying and whether you intend to or not, you sound like you're intentionally being a jerk, probably moreso to actual SU diehards.
Yeah, we left the Whitt just as the third period was underway, partially out of frustration but more that my wife was really tired. I'm glad that we didn't stick around. By not pulling Robinson earlier AND not challenging UCONN goals and our own apparent "non-goal" just proves more and more to me that he is not cut out for a Hockey East head coaching position. I doubt that we will see any changes until the end of the 2022-23 season. And when have a collaboration of "paisans" in Umile and Scarano to fill a head coach position, someone like Pecknold wouldn't stand a chance.
