Hey fellow wisconsin hockey fan. I hope you are doing OK as I know you mentioned you wouldn't be on much anymore and wondering if you might be able to give me access to update your google doc of the recruiting......

Hey there. Things have been pretty good of late. Disconnecting from all social media is a boon to my existence it seems. I was going to take a look at some of the recruiting stuff in the coming days, but I'll definitely send you a link to the Google Docs page also so you can make additions as you see them.

I do have to say that I barely paid any attention to the hockey team as the year went on this year. Life just got in the way of that. I don't think I'll ever be in a state where I don't want to participate on the spreadsheet, but forum stuff tends to drag me down mentally, so maybe it'll just be better to keep updating that as a way to keep my brain healthy.

Hope you are well also, and I wish you the best.

Talk to you soon.

Glen
I paid $525 per strip (all games, both nights). Just looking to get my money back. Good group of fans.
How much per ticket for all sessions?

I paid $525 for both days from the Garden. Bought entire suite, and had a few people back out. Can transfer via TM portal.
Congratulations on a great victory. What does the R. B. sticker stand for on Pioneer helmets?
2 observations the new pres is appointed by a board that was appointed by Pres.Jackson so one can presume he is "Her" guy and to expect sweeping change might be a little optimistic. My memory is not the best but a have a vivid memory of bringing in gr.A recruits Pirri,D'Amigo,Zelewski,Haggerty,Laliberte,Kassdorf,Will Rielly and a host of other players that we actually were in recruiting battles with other programs and won this was under the same admin.with the same rules it can be done it takes hard work and long hours on the road but is doable. We need to do a better job recruiting. I don't know what the current status of this staff is but bringing in nice kids who work hard and over achieve is not the reset I envisioned when we changed the last regime. Correct me if I'm wrong but we have lost 20+ games 3 of the last 4 years and shouldn't settle for that.
As Shabby says "it all start with goaltending" and indeed it does!!! All I can say is, Mitch Benson, Mitch Benson, Mitch Benson!! Mitch sat out most of all last year due to concussion protocol. Then he was backup to Gylander this year before Carter got hurt. The team played inspired hockey at Lynah this weekend!! Whatever happens in Placid, I will remain a very happy fan. Go 'Gate!!!!
"I'm not trying to be rude nor disrespectful to the Orange, and I'm sure not being sarcastic. I save that for people that I know. You said you thought Quinnipiac started poorly. I thought they had the upper hand throughout. This is D-I, and I know that Paul Flanagan understands that and schedules accordingly. You don't get judged by a different standard because you come from a different league once the tournament starts. Maybe that's why we viewed the game differently, if you were thinking Syracuse is #18, and I'm thinking they're just another team that has to win or its season will end, no matter how it got to this point."

Viewing everyone through a Minnesota lens, what I'd call winners bias, is exactly the problem I'm identifying and whether you intend to or not, you sound like you're intentionally being a jerk, probably moreso to actual SU diehards.
The road announcer Matt Paquet didn't give any indication of why he was out of the lineup, I believe he played on Saturday.
hi Scott...is everything ok???? Sorry to pry...let me know if you need to talk, need anything we can provide....

Yeah, everything's OK, thanks for checking. I was just disappointed and annoyed last night. My wife has had health challenges this past year and a half, and I try to go out of my way to make holidays such as Valentines Day special for her. So I invested in a dozen roses, a nice card and her favorite candy for this special day. Not only did she not really acknowledge the gifts with a "thank you"....but she didn't even bother to give me a card. 'Sorry, I just didn't have time to get you one" was the excuse that was given to me. This is coming from someone whom has never ever missed a Valentine's Day in the 36 years that we have been a couple, and she couldn't spend 10-15 minutes on a simple greeting card? The more I thought about it, the more irritated I got....no, she had the time....she just chose not to give me a card. So....her birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. I wonder how she would feel if I just returned the gifts that I bought her? "Oh sorry honey, I didn't have time to get you anything. Happy Birthday!" That about sums up how I'm feeling right now.

I miss the life we had as a couple before her surgeries. Now I just more or less feel like a roommate, just taking care of the house and doing errands for her. Anyways...thanks for listening.
Scott I don't know if you follow UNH facebook but a good friend (and fan) of mine posted a 'get rid of Souza' post followed by our own DBravo. Other fans chimed in with a meme and comments. Not a ton, but, the damn is breaking. What a shame with so many people there last night. I thought they had a great first period, but you could see Robinson was shaky. Prob Souza let him have it after the MC game. Souza must go. I think I told you about how Rand Pecknold of Quinnipiac inquired about that head job when DU retired? I know because his nephew went to my high school and told me. He was told 'position is filled'. If Marty Scarano has any stones at all his parting shot would be to fire Souza, in fact, the entire coaching group...(and I do like Stewy and seems Jeff has done well with the PK). Souza can't coach, can't recruit. he needs to be OUT.

Hi Julie! Not familiar with the UNH facebook page, but I should check it out. Is it under UNH Hockey? There are several UNH pages

Yeah, we left the Whitt just as the third period was underway, partially out of frustration but more that my wife was really tired. I'm glad that we didn't stick around. By not pulling Robinson earlier AND not challenging UCONN goals and our own apparent "non-goal" just proves more and more to me that he is not cut out for a Hockey East head coaching position. I doubt that we will see any changes until the end of the 2022-23 season. And when have a collaboration of "paisans" in Umile and Scarano to fill a head coach position, someone like Pecknold wouldn't stand a chance.
Leaving for the game in about a half hour. Plenty of ice and snow, a perfect night for hockey. Two hot teams should give us a great game.
