Congrats Yale, played two very good games and deserves to be the team in the Frozen Four.

Great weekend of hockey by Ylae. They deserve it. Out worked both teams, congrats and enjoy Pitt.

Yale deserves the win today. The Bulldogs outclassed North Dakota. Their pressure was just too much for North Dakota to handle.

Difficult way for this senior class to go out, but IMO, it wouldn't have been fair for Yale's senior class to lose today.

To all the Yale fans, enjoy Pittsburgh. Nobody thought you would be there except you guys, but you were the best team in this regional. Good luck at the Frozen Four.

Only one previous national champion left in the field.

Wow...just saw the score. Tough one for UND to lose. I almost feel bad for them....ok maybe not.

Congrats to Yale.

I don't think any of the North Dakota fans on here thought Yale would be easy. Of course, that won't stop ECAC fans from thinking they've been disrespected.

Thanks FS23, if not for those posts, this would have been a different outcome. Good luck to the North Dakota seniors and early departures.

I second that... With the parity in college hockey this year, I figured going into the regionals that pretty much anyone has an opportunity to win it all. I don't think anyone is really head and shoulders above anyone this year.

Yeah, if North Dakota had gone up 2-0, I think that would have been enough. However, Yale just keep pressuring and pressuring. It was very impressive, and I would have been cheering Yale on had I been a neutral. They deserved the win. If they keep playing this way, Yale will be a very difficult team to beat.

The loss likely eliminates any small chance that either Knight or Kristo had in winning the Hobey, so that is disappointing.

As for early departures, I guess we'll see what happens. Forbort is the most likely player to leave, but I think it's probably 50/50. I would be surprised if anyone else left early...but it happens.

Anyway, Good Luck to Yale the rest of the way.

Thanks from me as well, FS23. I love college hockey and the chest-thumping is the only thing that nearly ruins it for me. Yale was humbled, badly, last week, and the show they put on this week makes you realize you're watching kids... really talented kids. Best of luck to all of UND (and Minny). This is obviously already the high point in Yale hockey history, and the fans of the storied programs of those two schools may have difficulty fathoming how a Yale fan feels tonight.

I have actually rarely seen a WCHA fan use the EZAC thing. That seems to be kind of a Hockey East thing to me. Maybe I'm wrong.

In any case, nice work outta Yale. I hope either Yale or Miami wins the NC.
