Yale - The best team in the country?

I didn't see a new "yale best team in the country" thread this year so why not just recycle this one?

Because they weren't ever close to being the best team in the country this year (or the ECAC for that matter). Having been knocked out of the tourney by the eventually NCAA champ the past two years was certainly a tough way to go, but such is life.

While we sure do miss those seniors that graduated the last couple years, something tells me their college education is serving them just fine now.

Why recycle, when you can create a new one with the team's proper USCHO name: Ylae* ?

Heck, I seem to remember earlier in the season when they lost to the last place team! :p:D

Beat Cornell and win one playoff game and RPI is all uppity now. You were better at wallowing in sorrow than ball busting:p

Just keep an eye on your pairwise bubble, while Yale quietly goes 4-0-1 in it's last five games. Actually the worst case scenario for a Sue fan is to have Yale win the ECAC tourney.
One down five to go.

Now you're just talking crazy. Without the French professional, Yale doesn't have a prayer.

Yale doesn't have a prayer.

I think you said that about Yale once before if I remember correctly. One game at a time, Oh Filthy One. With the parity across the ECAC it is not out of the realm of possibility for someone other than Union or Cornell snagging the autobid that comes with an ECAC tourney championship, if Union and Cornell at least make the semis and/or the finals in the tourney, you may see three from the ECAC.

Your best bet at three from the ECAC is if Union gets beat in 3 games next weekend, and Cornell sweeps, then makes the Final, but falls. That might be just enough for 3 ECAC teams, but of course, that scenario may leave Union or Cornell at #15 and the last team out. A lot can happen still, but 3 ECAC teams is unlikely at this point.

Re: Yale - The best team in the country?

Three out of four home teams lost last night in the ECAC playoffs, the league championship is a complete crapshoot this year.

You win friends with bacon. My buddy walked around with a five pound bag of cooked bacon at the New Haven St. Paddys Day Parade today offering it to all who wanted and he was an absolute hit, mobbed liked the Beatles at one point. Are any of you ten citizens of North Dakota related to the Olive Garden lady?http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/lifesty...al-the-largest-and-most-beautiful-restaurant/

Seriously, we made half a run at the end. Congrats to NoDak for turning it around.

Your friend should come to the Final Five...specifically to the Forepaugh's parking lot before and between games...:D

If I say yes, will you send me bacon?
