Yale @ RPI - Saturday, Feb 16th

Re: Yale @ RPI - Saturday, Feb 16th

In all the hockey games I have ever attended, I have never seen nets fly off of their moorings more than this game. I know you guys joked about it earlier, but is it really this way every game? It was worse than TV timeouts at one point. Nice win tonight. Yale is a tired team that is lacking direction at this point.

Your team doesn't lack direction, they lack a starting goaltender. They played a very good game last night and probably deserved better. But RPI isn't the same team it has been in the past, they play with heart and determination. And this team never gives up. We have a goalie that keeps us in games like this and then we seem to have the energy to dig ourselves out of a hole.
Yale is a good team. Do they expect there goalie back this year?

Well said-Yale is very talented and is just going through a bad spell-unfortuantely at a bad time. Their goalie had no chance on 2 of the 3 goals last night. Any time your team can hold the opponent to 2 golas you have a chance. The Yale offense normally has no difficulty scoring-RPI just had the right answers on defense last night to hold a high scoring offense to 1 goal and even that needed a 2 man adavantage. Yale is certainly not done for the year. If given a choice, there are a lot of other teams i would rather face than them.

The last four games have looked like RPI in November unfortunately. Really disappointing as I thought they had put it together during the six game win streak. Had a good time in Troy except for the twoRPI students who decided to stand in front of the Yale players parents on purpose, actually had to call what passed for an usher to have them moved.

Hmmm... weren't you also behind the post so we don't have to look at you? ;) As much as we may be hostile, they should have better manners than that... they should only be heckling the Eli fans, not getting in their way... ;)

I hope they didn't throw anything...

RPI Students and manners in the same sentence? That's funny.
