Obviously we played a bit better than the score shows. Shots on goal tell a better story but we just did not convert on our best chances. Only positive was our overall play and outshooting Yale. Far too many lapses gave Yale the chances they needed.

Brown lost to Union tonight, 5-0.

Last Saturday, RPI faced a team that had lost the previous night's game, 7-0. Merrimack came out on Saturday night and played as if they had something to prove.

Hope tomorrow night it will be RPI, rather than Brown, who will play as if they have something to prove.

This was a strange game. Score shows 4-1, but we clearly outplayed Yale and are the better team. They get a couple fluke goals; we can't bury 3-4 breakaways and other chances. In the end, we need to bury our chances but still a frustrating loss when they played better than the opposition
