The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Hey now, we had some good opportunities during the PP. Sure there was some time in our zone, but I'd say it was a decent showing, even if the puck didn't go in.
I just go by how long it takes before McDonald wants to call something. Giving one to Yale when he did now justifies (to him) calling the next one in the third period on RPI at perhaps an opportune time.
For certain. At times it really looks like we have only one offensive line out there. MNM have been really good but we need a second line to step up. Our defense made some very poor decisions late in that period. When you get that late, and you have a chance to just shoot the puck out of your zone, you have to do it quickly. Yale is a forechecking one man deep but two men just behind and they had some quick turnovers that they just misplayed. I like the score, but we are very fortunate that it is in our favor.
Being grossly outshot at this stage 31-15. Baiocco from Yale was often a linemate of Melanson at Delbarton here in NJ. He has a lot of talent and speed. But Snively has been very impressive to me tonight so far. Yale defense seems very solid and positioned well. This third period is not going to be a walk in the park.
