Any of the new additions looking any good so far?

I have not watched enough to evaluate, but the entire team just seems one step slower than the competition. Between transfers and other covid related personnel and coaching losses, I think it is going to take Yale many seasons to recover, if ever. The team had been trending downward before the pandemic and it has only made things exponentially worse. I also fear that decent recruits may avoid the Ivies for a time due to the cautiousness of the teams compared to other leagues. This season is going to be a rough one. I think the reason for the exhibition was that Yale already has it's allowed number of regular season games, also they usually play exhibitions against Canadian schools, so they probably are not traveling down here yet, so SHU filled in.

After watching last night's game at Lynah, I think Yale is going to start winning some games. Goalie was impressive. Some swift skaters. Coach's son having a difficult time staying out of the penalty box: four last night.

Harvard wins it 5-3. I missed most of the first period, it was 4-1 when I turned the game on, but I thought Yale played pretty well the last two periods. The last H empty net goal was a give away as the goalie was trying to get off the ice. Maybe the team is starting to jell a bit. We'll see.

I think this was the second straight game that Yale was penalized for too many men on the ice.

Yale beats Brown 4-3 overcoming two five minute majors and has now won three of four after the disastrous start to the season.

More PP production would be nice, they were 0-7, but they definitely had the better of the play for most of the game.

The team is now off until the 28th.

Wisconsin beats Yale 3-2 in OT after Yale came from 2 goals down to tie it in the 3rd. Couldn't watch so I had to follow the game on live stats.

As usual, the Yale didn't capitalize on the power play going 0-3. The stats point to a pretty even game otherwise.

Yale loses to Bowling Green 2-1. Another game followed on live stats. Yale's power play was 0-6. Does this team have the worst PP in hockey history?

Yale vs Merrimack at Yale today was cancelled for what they are saying is non-covid reasons. The Merrimack website said Yale cancelled the game. It will not be rescheduled.

Yale lost to Cornell 3-0 (again) on Saturday and skated to a 2-2 tie with Colgate last night. After no one scored in OT Yale won a shootout to earn an extra point in the standings.

As usual, Yale was 0 for the weekend on the power play.
