Speaking of Lake Placid, the general manager of the dealership has done some investigative reporting. Did you know Al Michaels has been taking credit for the Miracle line this whole time?
It was weird how the puck never really slowed down, it basically stayed the same speed the whole way to the goal.

Happened in my hometown. Not only did she not have her glasses, but the 4 guys shooting as well kinda made her go first with the whole "ladies first" thing. She didn't even think she would make it to the other blue line, and looked away right after she shot it.
And yes, somebody did just pull this off at LP during the RPI/Union game, from center ice. Still 2 incredible feats though, just 2 hours away from each other.
