Re: World Soccer X: Duh, duh, duh, duh...The Champions!
Well, I would think that moving the game to the US would be their last option - I doubt they want to give up home field. I would guess that neighboring countries would be the top picks.
Still, the US's 10/14 game is set for RFK. RFK is also open on 10/10.
The Hondurans had a pretty good showing attendance-wise for the Gold Cup game against the US at RFK back in July...

So, what other stadiums are out there that would be free on the 10th of October? There should be quite a few NFL stadiums out there that would be free with their home team away that weekend. Would just depend on them not having anything like a consert going on.
Oh please god tell me that there's a Ricky Martin Concert there the 10th!!!!!!![]()

If the game is moved, FIFA’s first option would most likely be another nation in Central America, perhaps Guatemala. There is also the possibility of moving the game to a city in the United States while still considering it a home game and gate for the Honduran federation.
Honduras enjoyed wide support in Chicago in June for a qualifying match against the United States. But that option seems less likely now than playing in another Central American nation.
There is a precedent for moving a qualifying match. In December 1996, the Americans played Guatemala in El Salvador, switching to a neutral site after a stadium stampede two months earlier in Guatemala City led to 84 deaths.
