Is anyone else getting NHRA instead of La Liga on ESPN2?

It's been a great weekend for football.

Florent Malouda has a late winner for Chelski at the Britannia Stadium.
Did I hear correctly that there were 14 minutes of stoppage time in that match? Was that warranted?

Good comeback win for Fulham after looking pretty listless in the first half.

In a rare fit of rational thinking, UEFA has overturned the two game ban on Eduardo.

It'll be interesting to see what Adebayor gets for raking his cleats across Van Persie's face, not to mention running the length of the field to celebrate his goal in front of the visiting Arsenal fans. Bad form for Arsenal visiting fans though, as apparently a Man City steward was hit by a missile of some sort, likely coming from the visiting Arsenal fans after Adebayor's taunting.

Am I the only one who thinks Everton manager David Moyes:

looks like Rome/Grey's Anatomy actor Kevin McKidd?

Did you just admit that you watch Grey's Anatomy?

Turn your balls in.

Re: World Soccer X: Duh, duh, duh, duh...The Champions!

Looks like the ManUre's trip to Besiktas is already getting interesting...

Re: World Soccer X: Duh, duh, duh, duh...The Champions!

I have Beskitas-ManUtd on Fox Sports HD, and Marseilles-Milan on FSC.

Anyone aware of any other games on anywhere?

Setanta has Chelsea and FC Porto, if you have access to that.

Re: World Soccer X: Duh, duh, duh, duh...The Champions!

Do the Fox Sports announcers sound like they are not on site?

They are awful.

Owen on for Rooney, Berbatov on for Carrick.

Re: World Soccer X: Duh, duh, duh, duh...The Champions!

There were some early hints at crowd trouble and I know Turkey has a great reputation as a European destination (see Leeds United), and I jumped to conclusions. If there are any Besiktas supporters out there, well, sorry. :p

I'm pretty sure they're not on site...and yes, they're awful, but to be fair, that's a very hard way to call a game. Difficult to see, and no atmosphere to help with the excitement of the call.

UK teams today:

Arsenal came back to win at Standard Liege 3-2. Liverpool 1-0 over Debrecen and Rangers snatched a draw at Stuttgart 1-1.
