Oh, I never get upset with Wisconsin people for making jabs about people that whine a lot because I live in Minnesota and all I hear is whine.

Sweden 2, Russky 1 with 5:00 left in 2nd. Sweden is outplaying Russia in every facet of the game...

The score could easily be 4-1 Sweden if Russian goalie Vasilevski doesn't stand on his head for 2 periods. IMO with Sweden's high level talent and puck possession on home ice, this is Sweden's tourney to lose.

I am in Niagara Falls Canada for the New Year and the coverage of the World Juniors on TSN has been impressive to say the least. They also showed the women's USA Canada game last night where 17k folks showed up for an exhibition. The largest crowd ever for a North American women's game. Should be fun cheering for the USA in enemy territory this AM, might have to have a Bloody Mary in respect to the queen. Just saw a commercial for tickets being on sale for next year's junior games in Montreal, road trip anyone?

SVK 1 - 4 CZE is a final. Germany is going to the relegation round, given SVK and GER ended in a tie, but because SVK won that game in pool play, they get the advantage.
