Re: World Juniors - Buffalo 2018

Anyone know of a way to legally stream the games? I have NHL.tv, but they don't appear to be providing streams. I don't have access to TSN, since I'm in the U.S.

I suppose I could work from home and watch on TV...

I wonder if Jeremy will pick up Joseph and Jake, and they'll talk goaltending on I-90 all the way to Buffalo?

Oh joy Russia isn't even waiting to disappoint me, they're doing it right away

Most impressive I’ve seen a Czech team look in the over 10 years I’ve been watching this tournament.

Chytil (Rangers fan here) looks like he could be an early contender for Forward of the tournament.

Russia made it interesting late. All in all, great start to tournament. Looking forward to Canada/Finland at 4pm.

I agree, Czechs looked really good...my hopes for Russia are pretty low this year, there's no one like Kaprizov, Buchnevich, Kuznetsov, or Tarasenko who's posted big numbers in the pros against grown men. Also I have no idea why they started Melnichuk - Berdin and Sukhachyov are both way better IMO.

There's another college connection on Canada besides Makar, Fabbro, and Point, btw - head coach Dominique Ducharme is a UVM alumnus. I'd like to see him come here if we hand Sneddon the pink slip.

Re: World Juniors - Buffalo 2018

That was a horse bleep call
1. Net was off before Puck crossed line
2. Canada F hit Finnish goalie's pad which caused it to go in.

I turned it off after that call! No balls by the officials in the booth. That was NOT a goal.

Re: World Juniors - Buffalo 2018

After two periods of play Canada is holding a 4-2 lead.

Re: World Juniors - Buffalo 2018

Out of 23 players, the US has 5 players from an 8-9-2 Minn-Duluth team???

I know it’s the day after Christmas and it’s Denmark but I’m definitely disappointed in the crowd for this. It seems over the last 10 years this tournament has really grown in popularity in the US. Perhaps it’s ticket prices and weather a bit too but definitely thought there would be a better crowd for this.

US up 1-0 early on beautiful drive to the net from Max Jones. Bellows makes its 2-0 shortly after on a shot that the denmark goalie probably wants back. Hit him in chest and found it’s way through him somehow.
