What I think is "sad" is that she probably had a ride to a college degree, and perhaps out of Lancaster, and managed to f' it up.

And that doesn't count another 3 years or so I've spent there on business trips over the years a week or two at a time - it's much more tolerable in small doses, plus the reasons I would be there was that there was a crapload of work to do. When you're inside a concrete bunker 80 hours a week, it doesn't really matter if you're in Lancaster or Paris. :)

Still, 5.5/37 is really a total of 15% of my life. Very scary.

No different than the Gopher Basketball player who decided that shoplifting was a good idea. Self destruction crosses all genders, and all races.

Landscape, culture, and climate-wise, no. Local resident-wise, New Mexico in a landslide.

Lancaster is populated with:

a) people who got forced out due to rising real estate prices in Compton
b) serious druggies (e.g. Afroman is from the next town over and the area is known as the meth lab capital of So Cal)
c) people living there to be close to their relatives in the LA County state prison
-and-
d) people who are all of the above

Truly a hideous, hideous place.

I'm so going to hell. My reax throughout that entire clip was predicated on her translating her game to a different venue. She can play on my team any day.

I'm so ashamed.

Well, it's tied for the capital with "any other city along I-5". Or the Inland empire. Same applies to NoCal.

My favorite was the player who scored the goal for BYU pointing to the scoreboard near the end of the game. :)

Seriously, with the shenanigans & lack of calls I thought it was video from the WWF.
