Must be a Ticketmaster tie-in. Dynamic pricing, or, what will the market bear.Single game tickets for Rodents and Huskies are on sale.....$34.00 each for the rodents???? These prices are astronomical.
It's straight off the UW website. Would Ticketmaster be influencing primary source ticket pricing? They are as much as men's tickets. In fact, there are men's tickets that are less than that.Must be a Ticketmaster tie-in. Dynamic pricing, or, what will the market bear.
Yeah but they are pushing me to the brink. I won't be able to afford to retire at 65.They're all but sold out, so the market was good with it.
This is a great point. I recall 1 game where every time she touched the puck in the O zone she made a play that put the puck in a more dangerous spot for the opponent and many of the touches were very deft plays. Even Gretzky had games in his prime where he didn't have a point. That being said, she is still very young and no where near the full height of her powers. Very exciting times.Might be in the minority here but I feel like Nela has been consistent. Besides the Ohio State series she’s only had two games where she didn’t put up multiple points (and one was her first ever college game). Even in rare games where she hasn’t scored she’s getting more oohs and aahs from the crowd than anyone on the roster. But if a an occasional 6 point game instead her average 2 makes her in inconsistent then I’m all for it.
Not really an IIHF issue in my opinion. The National Teams could just choose not use college players or players could choose not to participate. How much does a star college player improve their PWHL draft position by playing in the IIHF tournament where outside of US versus Canada games are below WCHA levels?By my count, Wisconsin accounted for 5 of the US team's 7 scores today. The IIHF should pay attention to how they are screwing up the college farm system they get on the cheap.
The “Badger line” of Eden, O’Brien and Simms looked to me to be the best US line. O’Brien commented between periods that they often played together at UW which makes their pairing a naturalBy my count, Wisconsin accounted for 5 of the US team's 7 scores today. How much does a star - or otherwise - college player improve their lifetime income by playing for peanuts in the PWHL while jeopardizing their chance to get an education and enjoying an uninterrupted college experience? The PWHL is a scam. It won't be if salaries ever reach parity with the NHL - which they won't - but until then, it is yet another scheme to put more dollars into billionaires' pockets. Not really an IIHF issue in my opinion.
