Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2025-2026

I think the fanbase has grown accustomed to not having any problems, so they invent some. Otherwise, all they would have to complain about are a favorite parking lot being available, the band not showing up, or WCHA refs being -- well, WCHA refs.
Don’t forget losing league points while playing in an iconic game on an outdoor rink at Wrigley! The worst Jerry, the worst.

A bunch of seats just got released for tomorrow's game if anyone is still looking.
The top of section 17 opening up means no Quinnipiac band - not a surprise, neither school had a band last night.

(And that reminds me once again the year Harvard (was it?) hired some high school band to show up and play their fight song. If Q wants someone to play their fight song for them, they should ask the UW band. Every home football game - and I mean EVERY - the UW band learns the opposing team's song, and then plays it at least three times; at Union South pre-game, in the stadium pre-game, and then again post-game.)

Whew!

Dodged a bullet there.

Picked section 16 to be nowhere near the band. It's incredibly loud (and annoying) with the sound being bounced back off the glass and in your face when you're on that side..

Todd Milewski tweet a few minutes ago:

"Laila Edwards will play forward for the Badgers in Saturday's NCAA regional final against Quinnipiac."
Maybe they had an agreement that MJ would experiment with her as a D, but once it reached the win-or-go-home stage, the time for experimenting was over.

Kinda feels like one team was all-in for the last game and the other one wasn't. The evidence on the ice was clear and this report provides further confirmation.

This might also help to explain game two against Bemidji. If no one said anything before the start of OT like "Laila, we gave you what you wanted. Don't make us look foolish," I hope that's what she was feeling.
