This officiating is a joke. You do not hold up the game on an open ice hit on which there is no call and then huddle for several minutes discussing it. It's not like it was a disputed goal where there's a need for a review, nor is it like a hit on which there was a call and there's a discussion on whether or not it should be a major penalty.

End of the 2nd, 1-0 evil empire.

wow. I haven't seen this much smack talk in this rivalry since Andrew Schier was out there for UW getting under Woog's skin by chirping all game!

also...did Guentzel tell Eaves to Shut Up?

Completely killed any momentum MN got. They have a great penalty kill with a SHG opportunity followed by an outstanding hit by Rau, which wakes the crowd up and clearly fires up the players. Then the refs talk for 3 minutes and the crowd dies. Something like that can have a huge impact on a game. Why would the refs even give WI the time to talk? Eaves knew it was in his best interest to stop the game as long as possible to stop the momentum. He knew it was a legal hit. There is no fricken' way the refs shouldn't just say, "no penalty, no discussion, let's face off!".

Eaves was trying to rest his top line I'm sure, they had been out for the whole PP they had and were gassed.

I hope we come out and bury one quick in the 3rd.

Looks like UMTC and UMD both are taking this MacNaughton curse thing very seriously. 3-3 at SCCC

And I don't care if the gophs win, but please wait until the last minute to do it. I am really enjoying listening to the clowns whine on FSN.
