In case anyone cares I have a feeling a few freshmen will be wearing fishbowls this year.
"Sick window buddy, you from Minnesota?"

Are the Badgers mandating the fishbowl?

I prefer the cage as you don't even see the bars when wearing one and the air flow is better.
Half visors should be the standard. Old article, but makes sense.

Are the fishbowls "warmer" to wear? Putting limited thought into it, the cage seems to allow much more air flow than a full shield would, but I've never played hockey..
Half visors should be required for the NHL. I like the full face shield/cage for college, makes it feel like you are actually watching college hockey.
You know they were mandated, right? No new NHL players can play without a visor.
3/4 visors. I believe the CHL also has 3/4 shields. Thanks, I got it now. Something I never really noticed before. I think I would notice if they tinted it like Alex Ovechkin.
USHL is half visors, correct. Surprised more don't go with the full face clear visor to make it more similar to that. Maybe some of you who played can explain it to me.
Only a Benny to watch the Gophers, Wolverines, and Sioux pound your team? What a deal!It looks like the best steal in spectator sports just got better. Student tickets are just $100 (I assume a $20 fee will be added to that total). I'm assuming one of their biggest hockey goals is to get a big student section back. It's insane when you think about what you're getting for that money.
On a related note, it looks like there are only 18 home games on the schedule, not including the NTDP exhibition. Is my memory wrong, or were there supposed to be more home games because of the Alaska trip?
More games overall because of the Alaska trip, but they're adding an extra road series.
(Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong)
They were hoping to add a road series (not sure exactly why), but I don't think it's going to happen. The two weeks they wanted to find a non-con road opponent are pretty much booked for every team they'd have any interest in playing. From what I can gather, unless they have a deal lined up with Vermont the Badgers are going to play two games under the allowed limit this season.
