4-3-1 is not where I thought this team would be at this point. Say what you want but the non-conference play has been disappointing at best.

I hope the Saturday game is the jump start we need.

I was asked to change my password today - it said my password expired and was 1,361 days old. The first time in four years. This board has been acting strangely lately.

I was as well...and now I am getting the emails again, yeah!

Mine was 3,206 days old. That prompt struck me as odd too. Board be crazy.

Funny. I received a notice to change my password because it appeared gopher fans were trying to hack into my account.

Apparently their efforts were very crude.

And mine was 16,000+, which worked out to 43+ years! My memory sucks, but I honestly don't remember using USCHO in 1970.

I'm not disappointed in the record as much as how we got there. Our losses in Boston were stunning meltdowns and the start of Lake Superior State first game was not good either. 3 losses in Boston and at Miami are not necessarily suprising...just wish the Boston two were more like the Miami loss where it was an up and down competitive game that got decided on one faceoff breakdown.

Memory is the second thing to go...

People need to remember that Wisconsin outplayed BU and outshot them 43-26. Score isn't always indicative of the game.

I'm happy with the split. I have only watched the first period of the Friday game so far and my reaction is the 2 teams are pretty even. WI was easily breaking out/transitioning nicely and forchecking well and Miami wasn't skating circles around UW. Petersen was playing with a ton of confidence, really amazing since in the first period of the Friday LSS game he looked like he almost wanted to get yanked.
