Looks like a road trip to Colorado is due next Fall. Magness is a nice place to watch a game, were a lot of Badger fans there too back in 2008 when I was there. At least I think it was 2008, memory is going.

No 1000 post thread killer yet. Normally it happens right away.

I hope one of you is ready with the new name. I am not creative enough for that.

Next brilliant thread title... I'm open to suggestion.

Wisconsin Hockey Vol. XXVIII: This could be a Banner year... but how would we know?

That sounds like a winner to me. I knew you would come up with something good.

And you corrected the numbering snafu from the recruiting and regular thread, that's good work on a Friday.

Go EODS. Do it!!!

I'm cracking. I can't take this pressure. I'm feeling claustrophobic and I need more room to say inappropriate things.

To infinity...and beyond!

Jeff Sauer's name came up in another thread and in checking up on him I came across this recent interview from the Cap times.

Jeff Sauer, Red. He was the Badgers Coach after Bob Johnson, but before Eaves. Remember? :D

Are you telling me Mike Eaves hasn't ALWAYS been the coach? I thought he looked pretty young.

Yes. This. Good call on XXVIII as well. Technically this one should have been XXVII. Great idea EODS.

I'm still confused that two chains of threads use the same number system, but whatever. And board needs to step it's game up. There are several threads going well beyond 1000 posts.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol. XXVI: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Tolerate The BTHC

And we're now in the top ten for most posts in a thread.

And still not locked. We keep going we can be #1.

I think all the bye weeks make it hard for this team to get on a roll and keep it going, especially with two really tough road trips in the next 3 weeks. On the plus side Rumpel will get more time to get healthy...

I think Rumpel getting healthy outweighs the negatives. Especially when you factor in the extra practice time this team will have to solidify systems, etc.

Indeed. Perhaps the byes are preventing another atrocious start like last season. It would have been easy to play another terrible series right after returning from Boston.
