UW wasn't in his top 5, I'm not sure UW ever had a chance like they did with Boeser or Jost. Schuey and MM had their foot in the door, I don't know if they were ever invited in. I think the coaching changes kinda torpedoed whatever chance UW had, Bittner and Strand came too late for the party to make any difference.
They didn't have their foot in the door with Jost. The only real connection with Jost and UW was that he and Fabbro are best friends. A year ago it was all but a given that if Fabbro went NCAA it would be with Wisconsin. Badgerice is correct that Shuchuk was well connected with Fabbro and while obviously there are several other factors over the last year, Shuchuk being gone was certainly significant.
I updated the spreadsheet with Kunin leaving the program.
Good, except you still have Frederic coming in next year. It seems that can hardly be possible.![]()

Don't pull the trigger too soon.
I reverted the spreadsheet. Didn't take too much work. (Thanks Google!)
I noticed on that spreadsheet that you have a walk-on goalie need next year. I don't know if Grunewald is actually on scholarship. If not, there could be a scholarship goalie coming in next year.
According to this page, Grunwald is on scholarship. I'll keep looking though.

Awesome chart, great job.
He could be on scholarship. But, if he ever see's a second of action at UW I'd be surprised. Although saying that, he is a big body to throw in the goal.
F Dan Labosky has committed to Wisconsin.

He was at CC last season, but left in December. I would think him to be a Sophomore when he enrolls, but we'll have to see when he'll join the team.
21 forwards next year? Wow. Potential roster cuts maybe...?
even more sign that Kunin is leaving, just not before this weekend.
