Re: Wisconsin Hockey: Episode XXXI: A New Hope

Holy Crap. The game is going to be "TELEVISED" tonight? What is this Madness!?!?!

Hold on to your seat---> 22 of the next 24 are being broadcast.

And who knows, perhaps the other two will still get picked up.

Televised, but not available if you don't have espn news. I don't know if I've had success with "watch espn" on the puter or not.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey: Episode XXXI: A New Hope

anyone know if the Saturday game on WMSN-2 is carried on Charter? I have my company Christmas party but wanted to tape the game. I can't seem to find it on charter's channel lineup.

If you don't subscribe to it in your cable / satellite package you can't get it on watch espn app. I have tried that and it doesn't work.

Can't help you there but it will be online here and presumably will be available for replay as most all other games they have seem to be.

Edit:Or you can just watch it live on your phone held under the table. That's what I do.

I haven't checked Charter (I'll try to remember later), but if you have an antenna and digital TV tuner, it should be available over the air. Charter probably carries it on some strange number.

No ****, my friend. I was actually ****ed off that there was barely a band there. At least Lekrone was there both nights. I think I counted about 30 members on Friday night; maybe 20 on Saturday night. D

Bet you'd be happy with that many tonight...

Re: Wisconsin Hockey: Episode XXXI: A New Hope

What was wrong with it. Was right in front of me and looked good in real time.

Bailey took Rumpel's stick with his body and spun Rumpel halfway around on the first shot so he was out at the top of the crease when the put back came in behind him.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey: Episode XXXI: A New Hope

I didn't see that. Was watching puck.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey: Episode XXXI: A New Hope

It was very obvious on the replay....I can post it later.

The only thing I can think of is that they ruled it didn't impact the play....he had time to recover.

I'd love to know the explanation. If he doesn't get dragged out he's back tight to the post and that puck doesn't have a chance.

Of course it would help more if we played more than two minutes a period plus mabye the last 4-5.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey: Episode XXXI: A New Hope

No band tonight, but I have to say that the student section was amazing. (Some poor planning meant that what would be the band's seats were vacant.) "The Horse" and "Space Badgers" were done without the band. The Crease Creatures were surprisingly coordinated, and there were a few times when the lack of a drummer actually helped, as everyone goes too fast when they can't hear, so we just went at that fast speed anyway. Also, since most students are unfamiliar with the slower recorded versions of the songs, I found it amusing (and great) that we just sang everything at full speed over the recordings.

On the ice...while I wasn't focusing on all or any particular players, but when I did notice Tim Davison, it was for good things. Take that opinion with a bunch of salt, as it was formed with observations of a small fraction of the game. I guess I don't focus too hard on the Badgers' mistakes (unless it's a stupid penalty).
