It's completely insane we don't have any other assistant coaches announced yet. It would be great to get them on campus before the end of the school year to develop a little bit of a relationship with the players.

I think having the second assistant onboard by now would be ideal but there must be a good reason why it hasn't happened and I trust Coach Hastings to get it right. I'd be more concerned if Coach Knott had not come over as well but since we have the two most important coaching pieces in place I'm not going to get overly excited.

Probably waiting for Strand to make his pick known so he can be poached as well. ;)

That’s actually pretty surprising. Way too early mocks had Stramel as a top 10 pick. His play has warranted the slide. Though, Tony’s teams have made several players look horrendous only for them to turn into quality NHLers. K’Andre Miller comes to mind.
