Wisconsin Hockey - 2018 Off-Season - Hope or Despair?

Re: Wisconsin Hockey - 2018 Off-Season - Hope or Despair?

Just got my email to renew season tickets.

Think I'm going to pass this year, hard to get to every game when I'm in Atlanta.

Having said that, it looks like a quite a few good seats are available. Hopefully attendance can bump up a bit this year with better play.

Which is pretty much what phones are at a sporting event...

I can kinda understand peaking at your phone at a Brewer game, there's a lot of deadtime and you can pick and choose your spots during play. At a hockey game your are nuts if you are looking at the celly during play. Just go home then.

Hopefully the boys can find some goal scoring momentum and there will be enough "cellies" to watch on the ice!

It took me a LONG time to figure this one out. Nicely played.

No Blake Geoffrion Classic this year.

There are a number of pros practicing @ Labahn right now. I wonder if a guy could just find an open door and walk in and sit down without getting noticed wearing UW hockey civilian gear. Oh how I long for the chill of the ice and the smell of the rink and the sounds of the game.

I am here daily looking for any conversations or updates and it just seems no news or interest right now.

I am excited for the new year. I think this freshman class has the chops to be the type of leaders that take us back to the top and #7.

Wanna walk into LaBahn with me?

Yeah, getting a trespassing ticket isn't on my hotlist, but I literally could drive there in 3 minutes or walk there in 10 since I work so close.

Just wear an old hat with a piece of paper that says "PRESS" stuck out of it.

Works every time!

I think we'd get off light with just a ticket, but IF there was a door open, why not walk in? It is a public place, right?

I doubt there would be anything more than a "hey guys, this is a closed practice and you need to leave" as someone from the athletic department escorts you to the doors.

One would hope so, but in today's society one never knows.
