Not sure, but I thought I had heard captains were Kepler, Williams and Shaver. I believe they usually post rosters when the girls report back in the fall

UW just the released this info- (co-Captains): Wellhausen, Kepler (alternate Captains): Williams, Shaver

Interesting that Kepler is a C and hasn't played a single game for them. I think her desire to be a Badger and her willingness to sit out an entire year to do so says a lot. IIRC, she scored a goal against UW on her first shift for OSU (she was in the starting line-up for OSU) and the Kepler crowd went nuts. I think she was saying to MJ "you should have recruited me" right at that point.

Wellhausen has the genetics to be a great leader, no real shock there.

Shaver and Williams are kind of out of the blue, but I do believe both have endured personal losses or loved ones being quite ill (as has Wellhausen), which does build character.

One would assume next year Clark and Pankowski are C's in some capacity, with Shaver and Williams.

Going to be a fascinating year for sure with so many new faces.

Obviously we all are, apparently even non badger fans, but the roster won't tell us anything. I don't think the game against S Korea will either. I'm not even sure the first series will against Lindenwood will tell us anything; it could, but who knows. Hockey is just about a month away. :)

Britta Curl and MaKenna Webster made the US U18 roster. Curl is coming next year and Webster in 3 years, who is the 2nd youngest person on the roster. Curl is from ND, I bet she's more happy than ever to pick UW since the sue folded up the teepee.

With the MBB schedule being out now, I guess they will now squeeze in the unappreciated women's hockey team into whatever nook and cranny is left.
