From the banter it sounds like CC turned its game around - or did the schedule get easier once CC got into league games - or did goaltending get well? At any rate, good luck to them.

No, they just basically played a tough schedule and probably lit a fire under their own asses when they realized that they had to win out or they were done for the season. But I don't know for sure?


It's often tough for a team playing a #1 SOS. Reminds me of the Gophers in Lucia's 2nd year I think it was? Just missed out on the NCAA tourney after playing a brutal schedule and going just over .500. Not long after that they were winning Back2Back Titles.
