It'll be interesting to see the season snow totals locations in the south vs north metro. It seems that most of the big storms this season have had a pretty tight snow gradient over the area with the south getting the brunt each time.

The accumulation totals reported vary widely even within a couple miles of each other. Even Lakeville had one weather station reported as little as 1.5" while another reported 11.0".

it was 18 this morning in 978 land. It is now 24F in the sun. Yep. All my daffs and other plants that started to bloom are buried.

We got hit with one of those storms in which the air is below freezing near ground level, so that the rain that falls freezes instantly. Everything covered in ice. Coming home last night, the car was frozen shut.

Quite warm, actually. Anchorage had to truck snow in for the ceremonial start of the Iditarod downtown.

Computer models calling for a massive amount of moisture to hit Colorado this weekend. Denver should stay warm enough to avoid snow, but Boulder and areas above 7000 feet or so are looking at 36 inches of snow.

Unusual for this part of the country at this time of year, I was scraping frost off the car window this morning.

More typical is days in the mid-50s and nights in the low-40s.

Well, it happened. Denver will now be cold enough to see significant snowfall this weekend. :mad:
