Let's hear why NMU will knock Michigan out of the NCAA!

Reason 1: fan energy - Michigan may be 10 times the size of NMU but every other NCAA team is rooting for the Wildcats

Actually Michigan is only about 3.5 times the size of NMU. Remember there are about 10,000 students at Northern.

4. Nobody wants to see Michigan and their elitist attitudes in the NCAA's again. NMU has worked hard for this all season. Michigan thought they could just prance through the season and get in on name recognition alone....obviously that backfired.

Seriously, Hunwick will have the butterflies tonight.

NMU needs to get to them early and then the floodgates will open.

Why Michigan beat NMU....

A walk-on pygmy goaltender is named tourney MVP and outplayed two of the best goaltenders in the conference, amongst other elitist reasons, CCHA officiating not withstanding.

I beg to differ with you, Streaker. I think Harry Heilmann will forever be the voice of the Detroit Tigers.

But everything else you wrote was right on.
